i've spent the last 40 saturdays alone

not really alone but without a partner i mean to say in mexico saturdays are for partners and parties and friends sundays are for the family i spent many many months and years wishing i had someone to spend these days with i've been single for what feels like a very long time now i still don't understand exactly why but i was thinking about all of the things i've gotten to do on saturdays that don't have to do with romance this list is so long would you like to hear it? ill start with today i spent the morning with one of my best friends i slept over in her king-size bed with her dog bubu we went to choclo y maiz and got our favorite smoothies i'm about to take the san felipe bus over to iteso ill spend the next hours napping on my family's couch playing dominoes and watching movies they asked me if i wanted to invite someone aka a date and i said todo bien just me.
